Hi folks. I am new here.

I have an 02 Dodge. Stock except for the clutch. (Love my South Bend clutch) which I am looking to upgrade for the purposes of hauling heavy weight long distances. 6000 miles each trip.

I am interested in upgrading the NV4500 trans to a NV5600 or G56 transmission. (I am somewhat mechanically incline) I am looking into obtaining the highest fuel efficiency while gaining HP and Torque. I also want reliability.

My truck runs great, but slow to get up to speed when pulling. ( I don't force the engine to pull hard)

Unloaded, I get about 20 mpg. Loaded, the last load I pulled was about 11,000 Lbs and I got about 09 mpg to 11 mpg. (Given, I was in the Dekotas hauling over hills.

Would like help with possible upgrades to bullet proof my truck.

Maybe a mild upgrade would do the trick?? Need help.

All joking aside. After I logged on and started to read, I saw your ID and

started to laugh. I thought I had already logged onto this site and I forgot

my user ID and password. I have done this with some sites.

Anyway. I am looking forward to discussing dodges and how to make them

better, faster, stronger, higher mileage without damage.
