new dodge owner

Hi All, I have been reading the posts here for a few months now, and have recently bought a 98 quad 12 valve. I am absolutly thrilled with it ;D

I hope I can contribute to the forum as much as I got so far :-*

I just found out today about the Block 53 potential cracking and was somewhat relieved I did not have one.

My rig will be used mostly for towing a 25.5 fifth.

Just a quick intro

Re:new dodge owner

Only thing better than my 97 12V is a 98 12V. Good job and now fill out your profile, post some pics and ask a lot of questions.

Congrats, Srigs

Re:new dodge owner

Its a 98 quad, long box 2wd limited slip automatic. It has a battery powered combustion coolant heater installed which works awesome and uses very little juice. I believe it has all the 98 options except leather interior.

I am still learning lots about it, so far no big surprizes though

Re:new dodge owner

Is your heater an ESPAR or WABASTO???

Ive got an espar...and the thing works unbelievably well......definitely a must have for winter on the prairies...

Re:new dodge owner

We have a Wabasto, haven't used it yet in the cold climate, but tried it out to see if it worked, seems to keep things warm.
