I have a Huge questions. I currently own a 07 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 4.7L, I'm looking at trading in for Diesel. Looking at a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel, quad cab Larmie edition 4x4. The truck is clean in and out. It has 189,000 miles on the truck, and they are asking $15,500 for the truck. Is this a good deal Or What? How are the 06 5.9 Cummins? Its a one owner, no acciddents, injectors have just been replaced. compression check on motor is good now. Any reason why not to get this truck? I need help quick im going to look at the truck again on Saturday and either buy or no buy. But i need advice, never owned a diesel personally. Thank you all~~

Can you get a warranty service history? At that mileage, I would be concerned with the transmission more then anything else.
Also, can you verify if it had pulled a load or had a tuner/power module on it?
I would lean towards it more if you can get this information. Has it had u-joints done and when, has it had any major mechanical work.
I would prefer a truck that did tow.

See if you can get more history on repairs.
