New Diesel Additive

Got this off of today's issue Autotech Daily....Okay, I'll bite, where do I find it?

DIESEL TREATMENT CLAIMS 10% BOOST IN FUEL ECONOMY
EnerTeck Chemical Corp. of Stafford, Texas, says a fleet of diesel-powered trucks testing
its EnerBurn additive achieved a 10% improvement in fuel economy. The 420-truck fleet
saved $650,000 in fuel over a year’s time, the supplier claims. Costs for the treatment
totaled $142,000 during the period, resulting in a net savings of more than $500,000.
EnerBurn forms an ultra-thin catalytic coating in the combustion chamber, which the
supplier says accelerates the light off (sic). It also says the treatment results in up to a 50%
reduction in engine wear and lowers carbon levels, thus extending intervals between oil
changes. Previous tests in diesel marine engines showed a 16% improvement in fuel efficiency and up to a 53% reduction in oxide of nitrogen emissions, according to EnerTeck.
The company was formed in 2000 by former executives from Exxon and Nalco Chemical Co. It was acquired by Washington-based Gold Bond Resources Inc. in January.

Sounds a little like snake oil but sure would like to know more. It would be great if an independant testing body made the same claims. Or you buy it (when you find where) and keep us posted.<br>Thanks for the info.

Re:New Diesel Additive

They do have a web site but with very little info.

After the site gets fully loaded you will find a few links in very small letters at the bottom of the page. Reading their brief &quot;Benefits&quot; page is interesting. They have an email address for more info.
