New Cp3 = WOW !
Had leaking high pressure pump replaced today . Yes, it was a remanufactured pump not a new one . The truck runs better than it ever has . It feels like I just installed a 60hp. chip . It is hard for me to believe how much that leaking pump was hurting the performance without throwing a code .

I saw another thread over on TDR like this. Interesting, I found no performance difference in my truck either before or after my leaking CP3 was replaced, and it had been leaking at least a month.
My truck ran strong before, and I didn't notice any performance increase after. I guess every truck is different.

Just a thought............once again I am neither an expert on CP3's nor have I ever had one replaced...................but............my thought might be that if you replaced an original leaking pump with a new oem pump you may not notice any difference.............should you buy a rebuilt pump that could have had some modifications done to it during the rebuild that could explain the noticable increase in HP........................
I realize that this is comparing apples to grapes........but I do know that on the old 12-valve pumps they could be modded quite a bit..............
maybe completely off track............just a thought.............but I would be interested to know if the guys who noticed increased HP bought their rebuilt pumps from a independent shop or through Dodge................
