I've got the 350 hp OFE with about 50k mi on it. It was a little grabby at first but has been smooth ever since. Still holds good, just pulled 20k trailer last week and did just fine.

So it looks to be between the SB OFE and sachs. If I go with the Stock Sachs clutch what are the odds of having hotspots on the flywheel and it needing to be replaced? or does the sachs clutch come with new flywheel. For those with the SB OFE, did you have to change anything for it to work like upgrade the hydraulics?
thanks

just read through the field service manual and see that the flywheel does not need to be machined with new clutch just some 180 grit to take out minor marks.

I didn't have to make any mods for my OFE. As for your current flywheel having hot spots, more than likely it will. If your putting a new clutch disk in then the flywheel should really be turned.
