Interesting...This is only hear say...But was told bio would foam in a CR due to its high pressure...Looks like SVO works..being you prove it.. Maybe the CR could run higher than 5% bio also...

Sorry the OP has a 92 CTD and there is a ton of people who run 100% biodiesel on 1st gens. The big risk involved in running any alternative fuel is to ensure your using the highest quality end product possible. Horror stories abound from individuals who experiment without adequate research and quality controls.

i run B99 in the summer months and B20 in the winter, 99% bio diesel will gel up bad below freezing. Its a shame its only 10 cents cheaper than regular diesel fuel. I get mine at a biodiesel station up the road, their website has some facts and myths about bio. http://biofuelsusa.info/

Yes. I had no problems with my 24 valve. I never got up to 100%, but I was somewhere around 70% bio / 30% regular diesel in my tank. I have to start shifting back to normal diesel soon since colder weather is around the corner.
