New back up lights

A couple of guys installed these yesterday at the 9th NW Bombers Bomb Party. I love the way they look! I'm undecided as to whether or not to kep the KC's installed or to remove them for a really clean look.

Thanks to Torque Monkey and Pat T for the sano install!

I think those look good. I've thought about doing the same for my truck actually. How difficult were they to install?

Piece of cake for me, Pat and Ben did 99.9 % of the work! Seriously, cutting the holes was stressful. You have to make sure you clear the mounts behind the bumper, use a 4.5" hole saw and lots of lube. The rest was just tapping into the KC harness.

i like the look also. does anybody care to photoshop the kc lights (under bumper lights) out so we can see what it looks like with only the lights in the bumper and NOT under?

what was the cost and part numbers?

I did sorta the same thing except I mounted mine on the wholes on the bottom of the spring perches if you notice my bumper has a "small" dent so I could not mount them in the bumper

Looks pretty good but how long do you think it is going to take before moisture gets behind the chrome and it starts peeling?

I bought everything at NAPA. The lights are #4411, the rubber grommets are 4.5". I bought some extra wire for some other trucks and a box of ring connectors all for less then $45. The lights and grommets were about $30.

I'm not to worried about the moisture issue, the grommets seal up pretty well and are pretty flexible. And after the holes were cut the edges were deburred with a air powered finish tool.

its easy to do if you have the trailer harness tap into it with a relay to the reverse lights, thats what I did

Nope, the light I purchased does not have any mount or cover with it. It is just like a sealed beam headlight. It is held in place by the rubber grommet.

I'm 99% sure these are the right grommets, 100% on the lights.
