New Axle Ratio Update
I know some guys, along with myself, are interested in a different ratio. I currently have a 4.10 and would like to have a U.S. Gear overdrive unit but just can't see spending that much money on one. I emailed AAM and got the following reply back. I just want to lower those rpm's on the interstate, not the speed. The best mpg to date was 22.3 and that was 60 mph and an egg under the pedal also Power Service Diesel.
Steven,
American Axle provides 3.73 and 4.10 ratios for you vehicle, at this
time. A 3.42 ratio will be available in early 2007. If you want to check
back at that time I can provoide you with a distributor in your area
where you can purchase.
Thank you for your inquiry,
