New Auxillary Jack
Hi-I just spent 30" putting an aftermarket auxillary jack in my truck. Got the item off e-bay. Involves taking out the radio, pulling the plug out of the back, putting the plug for the auxillary jack in, and putting the radio back in the dash. It accesses the radio via the CD mode, and my Nano works great. My wife is happy!!
PM me if you'd like the reference. It costs $80 plus shipping and they have ones that will even charge the ipod. Bill

coreyd,
Does your trucks radio have the 2.5mm jack on the front of the radio?
When I was installing gauges and my painless wiring bus I had to get an ignition hot source to run the relays on the painless bus. So I had to take the whole center dash part out. When it was out I drilled a small hole in the cubby hole below the radio and I also drilled another slightly larger hole in the square cubby hole on the left of the dash. So now I can run all my XM radios wiring through that hole and I have fabricated a mount to mount the XM in front of the cubby hole. I then fed a 2.5mm cable from one hole to the other and can pull the 2.5mm jack out of the upper cubby hole and plug it into the radio.

Got any links to what you used? I have been looking for something to hook my IPOD directly into my 04.5 with the factory Infinity in dash changer. I can't understand why the top of the line radion(without Navigation in it) does not have the aux. input jack on the front like the regular radio/cd player comes with. I have tried the FM transmitter thing for the Ipod and they blow. The Mopar intergration kit says it is for '06's and newer.
