Congrats and Welcome!
I was in your boat about 6 months ago and with the help of these guys on here I chose an AFE Stage 2 Intake with pro Guard 7 and an 5" Turbo-Back MBRP exhaust. I think that you could not go wrong with those two as starting points as they will handle pretty much anything you would ever do in the future.

A set of good gauges is always my first purchase. Need to keep track of your exhaust temps at a minimum. Boost and Tranny are good ones to have as well. Then when you start adding the performance mods, you will know when to back it off before you burn something up.
Good luck . . . . I just bought my first Dodge two months ago . . . loving it so far. This is a really good forum . . .lots of helpful people on here.

Yuo can either do it by uploading to your gallery or use a much easier way such as going to www.imageshack.us and then uploading your photos there and then copying and pasting the link titled "Hotlink for Forums 1" and then just pasting that into your post on here.
Your picture will automatically appear.
The reason this is easier is that for every picture you load onto your gallery on here, you must wait approximately 8 hours for the moderators to approve your image.

In the past a set of gauges would be a good idea. But not anymore. Most of the new box's come with with monitors. So just get a box with the gauges and monitors built in.

Guess it depends on what you like. There was a poll on here on preferences between mechanical and digital, and most still prefer the mechanical. However, I do agree with you BigDave, that if you were going to get a box anyway, then I probably wouldn't spend the money on the gauges.

Welcome to the green fueled club!!! I also have the AFE Stage II and MBRP 4" exhaust, and this may be a good start for you. As mentioned already, there are boxes such as Edge Juice and the Quadzilla XZT's that have the optional monitors for gauges, adjustable power levels, and 0-60 times, etc...... I personally like analog gauges, so I went with ISSPRO gauges on the A-pillar. Do a search on this board for any more information you need. As far as LED taillights go, I just purchased a LED 3rd brakelight and am winning a set of taillights on EBay. You may want to check out Reconaccessories.com for LED lights, they have some pretty nice stuff.
