New 64/14 Silver Bullet
Got my new 64/24 silver bullet, along with a 4gsk, SB intake, and timing set today. It is like a TOTALLY different truck. It is gonna take time to relearn how to drive it cause of the 4gsk cause the power is higher it feels like. The only thing I think I need to work on is the boost elbow cause it smokes like a freight train until it lights up, and then I only get 37 lbs of boost. Not hard to adjust though. I love the truck now!! And to think I wanted to sell it before. Oh ya, and the whistle is LOUD!!

So I still cant get more than 38 lbs of boost out of this thing..... Why? I turned the set screw in but i cant get any more boost. I did have to turn the star wheel back to control the smoke cause I clouded up one too many intersections with my work trailer, but it still has plenty of go to it. What else can I do to get more boost?

You might not get much more than that for boost. The bigger turbo doesn't need to produce as much psi as it flows so much more air than a stocker. Yes, they are designed for a 1 to 1 ratio up to about 50, but if it's doing that now, and clears up the smoke, you really don't need higher psi. The higher boost number doesn't always mean more power.
