NICE! curious, how much gravel can you move, safely, in a visit to the rock quarry? In terms of yards.
Thanks

The box spec’s says 5.6 yards, and the electric over hydraulic pump is good for 5 ton. I hauled 5-6 yards of top soil no problem. The truck is good for 19500 minus truck weight of 8500 (I think without looking at spec’s) and minus 1750 for dump box and some for fuel and trailer hitch. The truck should be able to haul 9000 lbs, but we have road bans out now so you can only haul 75% of GVWR.
So finally to answer your question (not that I have a definite answer) you would have to find out how much is 1 yard of gravel is and go from there, but I would guess gravel is more than topsoil.

3/4 minus runs about 2500/3000 LBS/yard around here. What are these road bans all about?

The road ban here, is in spring time, the roads are soft from ground thawing, so you can only haul 75% of your max load from March to June. So for easy #'s if you were able to haul 10000 LBS you can only haul 7500 during road ban.

Sweet looking setup!!! I believe your trailer might be a tad bit over loaded though? Also, with all that tongue weight and your rear axle almost centered underneath the dump body, I wonder how much you can really haul in the bed. Its sure nice to see the rear axles set back on trucks so the front axle handles part of the load too................since they started putting the fuel cells all the way to the rear, it really screwed things up. IMO. Bad looking truck though!! Im so jealous.........

thanks!! I love my new set-up!! The trailer has 2 7000 lbs so I am good for ~12000 LBS my mini bobcat (463) is 2700 lbs and my S-205 is 6655 lbs so round it up to 10000 lbs only. I can haul 1/2 load when pulling machine's (something that I never do anyway)

No prob!! I wish it was a big S250 sometimes but for the most part I love My S205, it has super float tires and has less ground pressure that my mini!!

You said elec/hydraulic pump what brand did you go with?
I am thinking either a PTO mount to the 6 spd Aisin on the 5500 bullet or an engine mount with clutch cut out as I want to run front-rear winches, welder and an air compressor with my system..
