Well, I'm one that really can never settle with anything on my truck. I always want to change something, so heres the question... What do you all think about me taking off my stacks and going back with my MBRP straight 4" to 5" tip?

BTW, love the GSK, really does make the truck more driveable!

Kill the stacks. Save your bed for hauling, save your ears for hunting!

I did the same thing, previous owner had them on there. Threw the stacks in the trash and went with a Silverline 4" 304 stainless turboback with a 6" tip . Bought the truck in Ohio drove 5 hours home. By the time I got home I jumped out of the truck ready to kill someone. Funny thing is, My 5 year old son slept the entire way home.

I had stacks on my '89...loud as anything even with internal mufflers! I went to a 4" just to have sanity. They're really fun for short jaunts, but long hauls they get annoying. Maybe I'm just getting old They also get to be a pain if you haul stuff in the bed. I kept on dinging them up with scarp metal and wood. Gonna stick with either a 4" or 5" regular exhaust on the new one.

Lose the stacks! All that hot exhaust right behind your head tends to make you neck red.

haha, nice one....

Alot of mixed opinions, I'm really not sure what to do. I dont have much money invested in my stacks and I'm going to keep them as much as I change my mind about stuff....

I'll probably take them off and see how I like it for a while, I can always throw them back on.

Yeah but make sure you run the exhaust out from under the truck. The noise will still be there if you just put a turn down on it and don't get me started on the corrosive black undercoat you will get from it. Needless to say I get my knowledge from experience!!

I'm not a fan of stacks on anything except transport trucks, I say loose em. Just my own opinion though.
