What do you guys think about a body lift for or trucks.

I was thinking of doing what ptgarcia did and add a body lift to that.

To get the lift i am looking for without the front driveshaft being to out of angle. I will be making the control arms like the ones from Carli.

I saw his truck a while back. It dwarfs mine. I can't remember what size tires he had, but he had H2 rims. I parked next to him, and my truck looked like a lot smaller.

Back to the subject...when we met I had H2s and 325/70-17 Toyo Open Country ATs (the same tire I'm running now). The front suspension was complete but the rear was completely stock.

i got a body lift at home. just waiting until i have a week to install it. we put one in my buddys truck and it was not hard, but when u have a banks intercooler i need to mod some stuff to fit this body lift. i will get some pics of buddys truck in a couple weeks if u want.

ptgarcia how much did it lift you truck, i was looking at the Carli and their lift springs, but you said you got yours from Thuren correct. how much did they cost if you don't mind, as i don't see anything on his web page.

My truck is only lifted about 2". My coilsprings did come from Don, but if I'm not mistaken, both Don and Sage use the same manufacturer. I think they cost about $350 for the pair, but I'm not certain because I bought them at the same time as the other front end components. I would call Don to get a current price.
