need a truck

im looking for a truck dodge 2500 diesel 2003 to 2007 5.9 cummins 4x4 6 speed manual is there a year model that you would stay away from i am new to this thread

I am partial to the older 94'-98' Dodge CTD 12 valve trucks. I have a 1996 Dodge CTD that I have had GREAT service and reliability from. I have owned four (4) Dodge CTD Pickups and the WORST one for me was a 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve that had the dreaded VP-44 injection pump!

In 94,000 miles I had to put THREE (3) VP-44 fuel pumps on that truck and the truck left me DEAD on the side of the road twice! So,.....IMO,....stay away from the 1998.5 to 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve trucks with the VP-44 pumps.
My most recent new truck was the 2006 Dodge CTD CR that I got in 2006.
I have 64,000 miles on it now and so far, so good.
