i think the juice with attitude on goes as low as 800* . i don't why people go post unless they have post and pre-turbo pyro's .. cause once you see the high temp's the damage is done.jmho ....so if i were you set the monitor as low as you can

Most of the big rigs run post turbo for their pyros.

Here is my suggestion for you.

Run the Edge on the zero setting. Look and see where your EGT's are at. Then set your defuel point there. Or use the Edge factory settings for defuel.

Their is nothing wrong with the pyro being post turbo. I have both and never see more then 150 degrees difference between the two.

Why would some one install it post turbo. If you just want to moniter your EGT's and your not racing then this is the safest way to do it.

Trust me if your EGTs are at the point of engien damage Pre turbo they will be their post turbo also.
Running your Egt at the max temp depending on the pyro to tell you when your at criticle damage temps is irresponsible. These things are only tools. As such they will only have a certain margin of error on them.
To me running 200 degrees or more cooler then the max safe limits is better then runnig on the edge of the margin.

Just my take on it.
To many inexpieranced people running these trucks to the end of the safe limits with the answers they read from these type of sites and then guys saying If you play you gotta pay.

To sum up. run your truck stock for a bit and see where your EGT's are. Then set your point at that level.
Good luck.

the juice with attitude does not have a "0" setting .. it only goes as low as 800* .. i had the thermoocouple for the juice in my exhaust brake port for awhile and it never hit 800* so it never did de-feul at any point .. so i put it back pre=turbo and ran my analouge pyro in the exhaust brake (post turbo )

good luck

I believe he was referencing "0" as in performance level (stock settings).
