Im a big fan of Industrial Injection's Phat Shaft 62. Im not sure of the compressor wheel size but I know the rest is 62/12 or 14 and the 12/14 cost the same so no extra cost there. Around 1550 is the price they told me for onea few weeks ago. The 14 might keep up with the DDP 150's better. I dont have one yet but I have a few friends that do and when enough $ is in my truck fund, i'll be going with the PS 62/14 and some I.I. 120hp sticks.

Donations accepted and appreciated.

I would go with a 62 in almost any varient with a set of 150's. Don't go with any turbo bigger. I had the bad luck of trying a 64/13/71 with M4's on my '01 5-speed and couldn't tow more than 8,500lbs, no matter what program setting I had it on.

Why do you think you couldnt tow well?
Cause the 64 needed to be 62? Or cause your 13 needed to be 12 or 14?
I cant decide if i'll go with 62/12 or 14 when I add my 120 sticks.

Because you don't get the low throttle boost to keep you temps down. The bigger turbos get hotter faster, but have a lower peak EGT than the stockers. A 62/65/12 would be a pretty good towing turbo, but will be hotter up top than a 62/71/14.

I run the ps62/12 turbo. Seems to spool pretty close to stock and cools pretty good when i'm fully loaded...18k gross. I would go with that one, hard to beat for the money. I'm only making 400hp or less, but I think it will keep up with me to at least the 500 mark.

I cant decide if i'll go with 62/12 or 14 when I add my 120 sticks.

It was because the 64 was too big. A 62 would have been fine. I have seen many trucks set up identical to the way mine was with the 62 and they had no problems. I just wanted to push the envelope and try a 64. I lost the gamble and was left with a heavy duty diesel that couldn't tow it's own wieght. Worst thing is how I told several people how great it was all winter long, then the first 80 degree day I was towing a friends sledpuller to a local event about 60miles away and it took everything I could do to keep things under 1300*. That was stopping 4 times to change settings on the smarty and playing with the Juice/Att. Even stock was too much. After talking with Don at F1 he confirmed that it had to be the 64mm wheel that was killing me.
My new rule is if you are towing more than 10k, do a 62/12,13,or14/65. If less than 10k 62/13,or 14/71.

Ok so it was the 64 that killed ya. Well im set on 62 but still cant decide on 12 or 14cm exhaust side. Ill be adding 120 sticks, head studs and exhaust mani all at the same time as the turbo, and still have everything in my sig as well. I like racin but dont do it to often, and will pull between 4k and 13k with some steep grades at any givin time for work, also plow snow with a BOSS 9'2'' V so that can make for heavy loads as well, but 60 % drivin empty.
Im concerned that 12 will see too high top end egt's, and that the 14 will leave me blowin alot of smoke while towin around town.
What do you guys think?
Quicker spool / possible higher egt's?
Slower spool more smoke / lower egt's once I get goin?
