Need some help.

Driving the other day engine started to miss alittle. By the time I got it home it missed alot and was nearly undrivable.

In my drive way I lost throttle response. Idles fine and starts fine, throttle is very laggy and slow to repsond to input. I start thinking APS or the vp44 (only 9k on it). Then I notice check guages light came on and I had no indicated oil pressure.

I know that I had fuel and oil pressure just prior to it. Stop engine and put pressure guage on oil line to turbo, pressure is fine (38 psi idle) and good oil flow over rockers.

Thinking a bad ground I started to clean and tighten, but no improvement. Did notice however, that the oil guage will work for a second and then I have throttle and it runs fine. Once it stops working, I have no engine response.

Only code(s) are p0500 and p1693. 0500 happened while in driveway trying to find ground. Now I am thinking ECM or PCM or a bad wireing harness.

Anybody run into this or have an idea?

I assume you mean the cam sensor? Shouldn't that throw a code? Will look at it at first light.
