I went to start my truck yesterday and nothing. The instrument cluster comes on, all the bells and whistles go off, fuel pump engages, and the batteries read 12 volts, but when I go to crank her.... nothing. No click, no nothing. So I check all the fuses and the starter solenoid 20 amp fuse under the hood was blown. I replaced it, went to crank her up and it blew again. I did this 3 times. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:(

Solenoid may be bad and shorting when power is applied and blows the fuse... how hard would it be for you to jump the solenoid with a screwdriver or two and see if it will start and run Ok? Then you will know if its the solenoid or not.

There is actually a TSB on this from Dodge.
First try a larger fuse, but only a 25 amp. that was the recommended fix from dodge to the dealers upon the finding of this problem.
Problem is the starter solenoid wire is under-rated for the load required from the factory.
You will also want to get a starter rebuild kit off the internet ~$20, and rebuild the starter.

There is a service kit that replaces the starter solenoid wire and fuse with a 30amp that is available from the dealer, but I would rebuild the starter first and see how that fixes it... Should do it for you, did for me.....
