Need some front Dif help.

The Breather tube has come free at the end that's away from the dif.

I see a plastic clip on the frame that the hose goes in, but I can't find where the metal clip on the hose attaches further up and lastly the end of the hose has what appears to a white plastic coupling that I also can't figure out where it goes.

The metal clip probably fell off the hose, the "coupling" at the end of the hose is the breather vent. It just's there to vent excess pressure.

My hose came loose, I just zip-tied it back up. Make sure the vent isn't plugged full of dirt.

I still have the metal clip attached to the hose, I just can't find where it attaches to...I don't see a lip to slide it over.

Edit: "Can't"

Hmm. I can't picture a metal clip on mine. But then again I haven't exactly looked at it for over a year.

it's a couple-few inches below the vent end...I attached it to my shock tower for now, but it's touching the steering shaft so it'll need to be moved when I get home.

On my 01, but this was the rear breather tube, the clip slid over the frame rail.

What he said on the white vent

I'll have to look at mine. I think it's attached to a flat part of the shock tower up high.
Keep the vent clean, pressure may cause a seal to l,eake
