I need some direction on air horns??

I picked up a set of chrome Wolo Air Horns. All I have is the horns. These have a 1/4 fitting for the air fitting that are extremely loud just by blowing through them. What else do I need to run these? Small compressor or air tank? Obviously, I know nothing about air horns! Just looking for some direction here! Thanks in advance

I have train horns that were on my 06. Havent installed them yet on my 08. I got the complete kit at www.mypushcart.com. Good service. I wanted onboard air as well so I mounted the compressor and tank in a bed box so I can run my air hose out of it. I've got a Viair 450C compressor and a Viair 5 gallon tank. There are guys running 3 gallon tanks and mounting them and the compressor on their frame rails under the truck

I'm going to be running an Air Zenith pump. 200 psi, 100% duty cycle and 2.9 cfm. More money, but it can be mounted in the elements.

another vote for compressor inthe tool box, thatw where both of mine are, but the 8.5 gallon tank is under the truck. only other thing to add is for gods ssake, use a air valve for the horns, not a solenoid, much better flow, control, and variable output..........

You need to determine the max pressure the horns can handle. Run too much and you will blow out something.

Found a couple of the compressor and Tank mounted in my bed box. As someone else said above, only thing in the elements are the horns.
