need new wheels

I got a good deal on some 35's, but they won't fit on my stockers. The tires say I need a 8-10in wide wheel. Any recommendations on what width I should get? They are 16's, and I don't have any lift yet. For now I plan on some fendertrimming and maybe a leveling kit. Thanks, Andrew

Go to TireRack.com and check out your tires. They will have a spec page that shows what width the tires were measured on for a good start point. I think backspacing will be a major issue without a lift and with 35 inchers. With regular backspacing you're going to probably get rubbing on the inner fender area....

Look for a set of stock aluminum rims off a 2001-2002, they'll fit the tires and with a 2" leveling kit in the front you should be okay with 35s (maybe a tiny rub on full lock).
