How do they get the fluid out if they don't pull the pan? I've pumped fluid out before by pulling one line off of the radiator and putting the car in gear but that was in an old Plymouth where I was not worried about the trans. I wouldn't do that on my new truck....

they are lazy and use a pump and tubing down the dipstick. you dont get all the muck on the bottom, cant change the filter, nor clean the magnet. i dont advise this method. pull the pan, put in a drain plug for next time. do it right every time.

this is exactely what they do....next time i"m gonna be more vigilent with them!! i have in my hand the filter!! so i think i"m gonna pull the pan and re-use the same oil since the oil is relatively new....(1 week)

what does the book say about this. it seems that if you took it to the dealer for a service and it calls to replace the filter they should do it. not half-butt the job and suck the old oil out. thats messed up

supposedly they didn"t knew that they have been calling to change the filter...it was my driver who brought the truck!! asking to my driver after and effectively he didn"t told them!! so i"m gonna take my "pill" for this time!!
