Need Help removing dash for cubby mount gauge pod

Hey Guys
I need some advice on how to "safely" remove the dash without breaking it. I removed the screw next the the bag hook but the dash wont budge. I'm afraid I'm going to crack or break the dash trying to remove it. Are there hidden snaps I must pry with a screw driver to get this thing off ? I have a 4 day week-end to install my white faced di pricol gauges. I have the cubby mount 3 gauge pod for pryro/boost/trans temp.

Another question, I ordered the boost bolt, what is the cleanest way to tap into for boost ? Drill and tap the intake horn? Is there
another location that would net the same results but easier so the boost bolt can simply be threaded in ?

One more question, 12v switched source, for all 3 gauges. What
is the easiest place to tap into for switch power ?

I'm going pre turbo for pryro also

Thanks in advance

Had my dash apart more times than I want to remember. There are about six or eight spring clips which are tight. Just use care and pull, they will unsnap.

Problem is that you can't pull it slowly. Give it a tug , but not a jerk. If this makes any sense at all , and just do one corner at a time. About the boost bolt , I've used the manifold bolt under the #1 & 2 injector plug. No codes for unplugging this without disco'in the batteries. As far as the fuel pressure tap , a good place is the bottom of the filter bowl banjo bolt and don't forget to use a "TEE" to allow the bowl to be drained before removing the old filter and washing all the crap back off into the bowl again.(and worse yet letting a hunk of something fall to the outlet opening) I know it sounds like a long shot, but It tough enough seeing down in there as it is ! BTW,fuel tap can be done all from the fenderwell
