Need help please, trans P1762 code
I got in my truck today and put it in gear and it felt like the trans was slipping or I was pulling a serious load. Checked the code and it's P1762, governor Pressure soliniod valve.
My truck ran fine yesterday and today this happens.
I hear they get gunked up, can it be cleaned? The dealer wants $116 for one, can I get it anywhere else?
Does anyone have a how to to change it?
Also, can I drive the truck like this if I'm easy on it just to get the part?
