Need help, loss of power while pulling?
I'll try to keep this short. It is a stock 2006 ram 2500, while pulling my camper its like it shuts off and has very little power. just enough to get pulled over somewhere. it has done this a couple of times. if i let it sit there for a while i am able to go on down the road at 100% power but the engine light will not go off for a couple of days. It has thrown codes P0237 P0251 AND P0069. I took it to the dealership but all they gave me was a lot of "might be's" I didn't want to leave it with them and run up a bill and still not be fixed.

Boy you got a mess there.
first code 0237 Turbo Boost Sensor Circuit Low
second code 0251 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control A (Cam, Rotor, Injection)
third 0069 MAP, Barometric Pressure Correlation
It would appear you might have an electrical issue, (fix & check the easy cheap stuff first.) so I'd start with the connector wiring from turbo boost (Int manifold), to fuel injection (at the Inj Pump) which might be in a connector that's common to all three. Try the PCM modules on the firewall.
Disconnect the batteies, kill the residual electrical charge by turing on the lights or stepping on the brake for a second or two,. then dissconnet the wiring harness plugs on all three modules and spray them with contact cleaner real well and reconnect after they dry out. Do this a couple of times and then spray again real well and blow the connector with an air hose.
Reconnect all plugs and batteies and see if this has cured the problem. You'll have to clear the codes because I think the frist two are considered hard codes and won't clear on their own, I might be mistaken here maybe someone can correct me.
If this doesn't correct the issues, keep looking for electrical plugs and connectors that might be corroded and clean like above described. Good luck.

Scratch the previous post. I just re read and seen where you said it was stock. Its a good possibility that a sensor is shorting out and messing up the 5 volt source for one circuit of the ecm. I'd check the map sensor first. If the ECM isn't getting a boost signal it will go into limp mode

thanks, i am going to go thur and check and clean all connections. how do i check if ecm isn't getting boost signal? i will not really even know if i have fixed it when i do this because it only does this about everyother time i tow. i can sit and wait for a while and it will take right back off, but the engine light will stay on for a couple of days. it seems as though something is getting hot and sending it into limp mode.
