the two long bolts that hold?? the radiator support at the bottom. they are going through rubber cushions. do they actually bolt DOWN to the lower support. mine has no washers and appear to have pullled right through the holes. My second thought is that they may just 'float' in the hole. since the left fender is off I can pick the left side of the core support right up out of the hole that the bolt goes into??
basically, does that 16mm headed nut on the underside have a washer under it???
lemmeknow, thanx.

Well I certainly appreciate that, but I meant the whole core support. Is that what you meant ? I know the radiator on a 93 has this same sort of 'rubber cushion' mounting as the core support, but i just havea weird feeling that the core support nuts have pulled through the bottom of the crossmember on mine because there were no washers. I just can't beleive that these bolts were meant to 'float ' around in the holes and be metal to metal. this truck was tapped in the front before so someone with less mechanical skills or brains may have put this back together w/o washers. thanx , crossy

i will go out after a bit and snap a photo of the core support to frame mounts. picture is pending approval in my photo's so take a look . i would say the stack of things are radiator then rubber then core support then rubber then crossmember. did find my jack on this excursion.
