I need a clutch!
Was wondering what would be a good clutch to put on my truck. I have been told southbend and centerforce but after researching them i am not sure what to go with. I have an 03 Cummins 6 spd. with banks 6 gun, cold air intake, banks power elbow, 5 inch exhaust, and soon to be II Silver 64 and fass fuel pump. I do alot of heavy towing so would need something to handle that also. thanks for the help.

Call Lary here at the DTR store tomorrow. The Southbends are on sale $200 off but it's about to end.

2 choices if it were me:
SouthBend ConOFE (great towing single disk)
SouthBend DD3250 (able to handle more and still be acceptable towing)
I have the OFE and its amazing how well it holds considering I've slipped it at max power some. It takes a beating and never fails. Granted I'm probably 50+ hp over its rated level but it is strong for what it is.

I really dont like southbend. I have a couple buddies that made them slip at lower then what there rated but then i again ive heard good things and its on sale. I running stage 4 clutch from clutchmasters. Rated at 825hp and 1500tq to the wheels. You can compare prices and see what you think. I just tryin to help out.

I run a Valair ceramic. I'm on my second one only because I blew my tranny up and put a new one in while it was out. The first one still had a long way to go. Valair does seem to get a bad rap on here but I've had good service and product from them and will buy from them again when needed
