Need advice

First post here, wanted to say thanks to all of the DTR mebers for the incredible amount of info on this site.

I've been saving my pennies and am going to buy some toys for my stock truck. Looking at the Smarty Jr, S&B intake, an intake manifold, deleting the cat, and a better flowing exhaust. My purpose is mainly for max economy and that great rush when you put your foot in it. The truck is a daily driver, doesn't get beat on, and I tow a 8k trailer occasionally.
Secondly, (where I need the advice) the trans is starting to shuttle shift pretty bad on 1-2. I've read many posts on this problem and have decided to install a Transgo kit, new governer selenoid, and adjust the bands. Tranny has been serviced regular with filter and Amsoil trans fluid. It has 63k miles on it . Like most people here, I aim to drive this rig until it falls apart.
Is there anything else that can be done to the trans other than what I have mentioned without spending big bucks? TIA

Firstly... fill out your sig. and tell us exactly what you have. Much easier to give advice that way.

On the trans... maybe upgrade the cooling?
