Thumbs up NASCAR Diesel Truck Series

They have the Craftsman Truck series, what do you think of a diesel truck series. They used to have a big truck series years ago but there must not have been enough interest in it at the time to keep it going.

Nope, the truck is sponsored by Power Stroke. NASCAR rules will not allow anything but a small block V8 gas engine.

But wouldn't running diesel be cheaper and hence more profitable if they ran the trucks on it? Nothing special for the fuel I would think. Plus more if not much GPM (gallons per mile ). Just my $.02

IF it ever happened they would have them tuned so well there would be ZERO smoke even during spool up.
