Napa Front Suspension Parts

Well its time that I rebuild the frontend on my 97 2 wheel drive... I got a quote from a local shop that uses Moog parts and they want $1700.00 for a complete rebuild with new rotors and pads. I knew that I needed the pads and rotors ...
So my question is...who has used the front end parts and what do you think. Also what did it cost you to rebuild the front end..My wife just couldnt understand why so much..but I also told her that the truck has 252k on it and the front end has never been touched...

Thanks
Rick

Is that including front springs , My truck has 160,000 and I was planing on doing my frontend with springs , a-arm bushings , balljoints , calipers , rotors ... all moog and top of the line parts and thats going to run me 800 but thats also me being a retired wrench and getting the parts at shops cost !
And thats still not including the alinement .
If you going to pay it is a little high on the price but not too bad if you can't do the work your self !
Hope this helps !

That price does not include springs... My son and I will do the work...I have done a number of them but just dont have the time right now but after that price..I guess we will be doing it..
You wouldnt have the part numbers of what you were going to use do you??? I know the shop was going to use Moog so that is what I will be using..

thanks

I called my buddy who runs an autoparts house ... before I bought this truck knowing I would at some time have to do my frontend ...he told around 800 with springs , wheel bearings seals ... everything !
He's not a napa but dose carrie the moog parts ....They told 1700 for the parts alone ...thats insane !
