My truck is going into gear hard!!
This is for my truck in my sig.
Ok about 900 miles or so ago i put in a sothbend OFE. and i changed all my fluids when i did this. But ever since it has gone into gear harder. I bought the truck with 100k on it. so i dunno if they put anything in the tranny to help it shift "if there is a such thing??" or not. I just put in the type and amount of fluid the book called for in the tranny which was the top of the fill hole or almost 5 quarts i think it was.
Is this the clutch or because of the fluid? What ever the case i don't like it. it sometimes takes me a good 10 to 15 seconds for it to go into gear.. OH it is only when i am at a stop. while going into reverse or into 1st 2nd or even 3rd. Boy i hope my tranny isn't taking a Edit i just replaced the t case, and now the clutch. If it is the tranny this thing is getting parked. i will drive the old dakota.
Anyone else have this problem???? Is there any tranny additive i can buy for it??

What fluid did you put in the trans. It appears that you have a NV5600. If so then the trans requires special oil.
I use Penzoil syncromesh. Others use different brands. Mopar oil for the NV5600 is expensive.
