You are likely looking at about 8-10 weeks to have it in your hands, maybe longer from other posts I read.

I ordered mine the very first date available,, June 18th.

Arrived today at dealer in Alberta, mmmmmm it's soooo sweeet.

So PDI tomorrow and plates on in the afternoon.

A little testdrive over the weekend 500miles/800km should be about right & then next Wednesday hook up the 9500lbs TT and off to Vancouver Island. About 1500miles/2400km round trip, should give her a wee little workout over the Rockies & the Coquihalla.

Not much sleep tonight!!!

yea this will be an interesting drama to watch. If new orders have an increasing wait time, that indicates that DC has planned consistent production capacity and it just adjusting backlog in response to incoming orders. If this is the case, guys worried about getting an EGR engine will get better confirmation sooner -- if the production complete date is in December then its not likely to have EGR.

If new orders have consistent wait time, that indicates either DC was really accurate in predicting market demand (not likely), or they are accelerating production to meet demand and show more profit for the year. This would be bad news for those worried about getting an EGR engine 'cause it could mean an early cutover to EGR -- similar to the early cutover of the VP44-based injection system scheduled for 1999 but delivered in 1998.5.

Now I'm really depressed! I ordered my truck around the same time (Canadian order). The order banks opened around the end of July (in Canada - I was told by the dealer). The truck was produced August 25th and shipped August 26th. I haven't seen it yet. Last time the dealer checked it showed that it was in St. Paul, MN on September 10th. He's "been expecting it" every day since. ??? Do you know what date your truck was manufactured??

My truck was shipped August 2nd and as of today, still not here...however, other trucks that where ordered after mine have arrived...none are dually's. I bet its a hassle making sure it goes on a transport or something up to polar bear sheep land that it will fit on.
