Question my pending setup

I am getting a p7100 pump rebuilt by pensacola diesel and I am having 191 DVs installed, stock plate, 3gsk.
at the same time I am putting in pensacola diesel stage 1 injectors.
planning on 15.5 -16 degrees pump advance.

will I have any problems with this setup?

this truck will ocasionally be towing about 8000 pounds (5000 lb fifth wheel and an 17 bass boat) and is not my daily driver.
I am looking for more but not excessive power and higher defueling RPMs for towing in the hills around here without excessive EGTs.

thanks to all that respond
.

That sounds like a good starting point. I would probably get some gauges if you don't have any. That setup will also allow for easy addition of power with a fuel plate if you're ever disappointed.

At that point your trans will be the weak link.

Is your pump bad, why the rebuild? Pensacola has had some mixed reviews, so I'd look everything over with a fine tooth comb when you get it. 191's, 3k GSK and a plate should only cost your around $400, so unless you pump needs a rebuild, I would hang on to what you got and do the rest yourself.

agreed, that work is easy to do yourself too. I would also go with the 4k gsk because if you dont now, you will down the road. i would also grind your stock plate to about a 100 profile which makes logical sense as a function of operation and you can slide the plate back or forward to increase or decrease fueling. i had a stock turbo and 100 plate all the way forward and couldnt get over 1200* pulling a trailer up a long mountain (16.5* timing) with stock injectors.
