My New Tranny Build after I finally "Swoled" my old one.. Pics!!
Well my old tranny build lasted threw 3 motor builds and I finally broke it instead of blowing up another motor!!! LOL
2 days ago I had JUST got through finishing some small issues I still had and my truck was almost perfect... So Mike and I went to a late lunch. On the way back I was just leaving a light and rolled into it (Obviously it was already hurt) and was probably only making 30-40 psi of boost...Then POW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turns out it was a twisted Billet input that twisted all the splins out of my torqu converter turbine hub..
Towed back to the shop, luckily only 2 miles away... (Silver lining)
Got a Whole new build today... New 300m cryoed Billet I put and a new Garmon converter ( literally brand new.. He's not doing rebuilt cores anymore).
The new Valve Body secrets / updates and such...
I was begining to feel like Jim Carey in the movie , " The Truman Show "...
Everytime I was the least bit happy with my truck the director would order a some new carnage... lol
Heres the pics from today... I even got to help
This way Rick and Jeff can blame me if it breaks!!
Mike towing me back to the shop... lol
Twisted Opie Shaft... Not blaming him at all... Me and my Lock Up Switch are very close... lol
My New 300M Cryoed Billet shaft
MY old SC converter that had be reclutched once by DPC... This thing tooks LOTS of abuse!!
Can you see the twisted splins inside the turbine hub??

On a side note.... We added a second set of Filters / Water Seperator to my setup since Marco just repaired my injectors over in Italy!
Filtration is KEY for these CR's!!!
This is in addition to my FASS filters

Thank you Sir!! I've got SO many of these over on CompD! lol
I'll post my "History of Swole" link here for all those that would like to catch up on my Infamy of Carnage...lol
If the Mods here don't mind... Here it is
http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...ad.php?t=98035
These are on a Dr. P Kleen Diesel plate and they are POST FASS .... I mounted them just infront of the fuel tank on the frame...
I just learned some info form a Very knowledgable member on CompD about which Filters and Water Seperators I should be running... I'll post that info here for others to see..... He gives part numbers too....
My Original FASS was the OLD (Big) 95/150 Series... It is ONLY a 95 GPH pump... And I still made 800+ HP with it....
It finally gave up recently... I just sent it back to FASS... I'm having it upgraded to either a 150 or a 220 gph pump.... I was gonna do the 220 but after learning from the CompD member, I'm probably gonna just do a 150 gph...So as Not to OVER pump my filters... Most aren't capable of flowing enough for the 220....

Here is the PM info from the guy on CompD and how he's telling me to set it up......
"FS1023 is the f/w sep that came on the 150 series and the 95/150 series. Unfortunately it's not a f/w sep per fleetguard specs. But has a common thread size for easy changing.
I personally would stick with a 150 GPH pump, the filters are maxed out at 150 GPH as far as retaining efficiency and 220 is well above that. At your power level I think you are fine with 150 GPH.
When you get the pump back I would run a FS1000 on the suction side, HF6607 on the pressure side then a FS1001 and a P551313 on the Dr P.. your fuel will be super clean!!
If your having pressure issues from all the filters, which I highly highly doubt, try a BF1212 on the suction side of the FASS.
Good luck!
