Your wife is a saint. Buy her something nice.

My rig was exiled to a shed in the side yard before it was plumbed.

X2 on the set up. Very nice. But there is no way you could be married and have a set up like that! No way I can even come into my house without taking my shoes off and God forbid I set my truck keys down in the wrong place! What I would give to have a garage/shop setup where I could also live in! Not so with wife and kids though. I have to share my garage space with kid stuff (bikes, scooters, skateboards, toys). Just kidding bro. But it does look like you have that contraption set up inside your house. If you really do, more power too ya!

im not married im 20 and live by myself lol gf stays at her own place lol its more fun that way lol, as for drying the fues just a nozzle that fans out the fuel and a bathroom vent fan blowing on it to evaporate it cant wait to use it all lol

Ive gone from drying via the heat / spray into barrel technique to the heat / vacuum technique and from a couple tests I can tell you I get much more water out with vacuum.
most of these water heaters seem to be able to tolerate 29" of vacuum okay.
The only hitch is youll need to change the pump oil out a lot, or find a way to build a chilled condenser. I was going to make an attempt with ice water bath and a small radiator.
If I ever see a refrigerated air dryer for cheap Im gonna snatch that up. I have a dessicant type now and it doesnt last long between media changes.
Keep an eye on methanol prices. So far it seems that buying in bulk early in the season works best. It was 135$/barrel in early spring. I just recently paid 200$/barrel. you get cheaper prices buying by the palette.

oh yeah, is that a XR250 in the background there?

Nice kit. My only question is how are you venting the space your setup is in? It *shouldn't* happen but I've read too many stories over on the Eve forum of methanol getting free.

Also, what are you using to mix/stir? Maybe it's in the pics and I missed it.

Looks like you used good fittings!

yeah venting is really important. You cant smell methanol at the concentrations it takes to be explosive and harmful to health.
Even a small fan and a dryer vent hose would help.
I converted all of my methanol handling to forced air so its pushed up through a tube in the barrel with compressed air instead of run through a pump.
The wash tank is the only place where the methanol is a real problem. that has to be vented, especially when its being filled.

garage door / side door with fans and vent on processor im working on some fittings for the processor to use a vacume to fill/ heat cheaper.
