My code 0251 solved...now another prob..
I was having a problem with a fuel leak and I also pulled a code 0251.
I fixed the leak, but the code stayed even after erasing it.
I finally decided to run the test to find out the problem. As I tried to figure out how to unplug the electrical connector I found the problem.
The wires were all full of diesel fuel and apparently this weakened them and one of the wires was pulled out of the plug.
SO I don't need to buy any new hard parts, BUT where can I find this connector to buy ? Would the dealer have it ?? I'll have to try them out tomorrow.

You'll probably have a hard time buying the connector. If you do, more than likely all you will get is the plastic connector. Most large Dodge dealers have a master service kit for wiring harness repairs. You'll get a new terminal to put on the end of your wire and put into the connector. I have an entire wiring harness I can send you a piece of wire with the terminal end on it if you want. I'll need a picture of the terminal though. Let me know!

Thanks vzdude...you have been more than helpful with my dilema. I will see what I can tomorrow about the plug. I may actually be able to fix it. I temporarily band aided the problem with a small finish nail. I stuck the wire in the back of the plug then pushed the nail in to hold it there. It works now. No more code and the power is back. I'll tear into it tomorrow and see what I can get accomplished. I will let you know if I end up needin the plug. Also, while I am in there I was gonna do that mod on the fuel control unit...what's your take on that ? Good idea or is there a con to it ?

I'm looking into doing that myself! I have a buddy that operates an EDM and he said it would be a piece of cake to do! He could defiantely make it smoother and more concentric.( sp?) I am a little hesitant to do it before I have a spare FCA and the tools to change it along side the road. Heard too many people have them lock up or stick after doing the mod. I know SMOOTH is the key word.
