Is my clutch toast?

Hey guys I have an 06 3500 and I think the clutch may be toast.

It was working fine this am and all of a sudden the clutch felt REALLY funny and loose with weird pressure on the bottom and the engagement zone seems to almost have vanished

Also I cant get the truck into reverse at all,(low is almost impossible from a dead stop) and it really only barely shifts as the truck is driving?

I have 270K on this original clutch but somethin tells me it is totally DEAD...

any advice for what i should do or if I am wrong and maybe just something crazy is going on?

Thanks guys

Could just be the hydraulics but with 270k on the original you might be just better to replace it and the hydraulics and go another 270k miles.

ok guys

update

Dropped the tranny and from what it looks like the DMF blew some springs and damaged the clutch and flywheel( which was in AMAZING shape for 270k miles)

Im thinking instead of replacing the DMF and pressure plate I was thinking of doing the solid flywheel conversion since it is a heck of alot cheaper and replacing the clutch

anyone have any experience with the solid flywheel conversion? is it worth it?

I understand napa has a solid flywheel conversion that is pretty good. I think I'll do that or the south bend con ofe when it's my time.
