View Full Version : Mud tires 35"+ on 17" rims

I have 17" rims on my dually that i have a 4" lift on. I'm thinking 37-40" tires and I think and if any of you guys have pictures i would like to see them

Here is a few pics of when I was running 37x13.5x17's. 4" lift, I would only get a little rubbing at a full lock. Im back on 35's now.

I think it would work because I've seen the big rig 22.5 wheels with around 37 inch tires on a 3 inch lift.
The backspacing is different on the dually wheels which gives you a little more room because they aren't made to stick out like on a SRW.
I think you just need to worry about width, wheel and tire.

Thanks. I payed about $350/tire. I don't remember the exact price, they have been sitting in my shed for the past 2 years. two sets, 1 set nearly brand new.
