How much weight?
The other day I saw a third gen cummins pulling a gooseneck trailer with nine of the big round hay bails. How much does one of those weigh? It looked really cool by the way.

depends really anywhere from 600-1000 pounds. My buddy can get about 12 on his old trailer may be able to get a few more. They might even be heavier then that but not by much.

This is not a 3rd gen.....but here is member "Blackdiesel"'s rig with, I believe, 32 round bales.

and in a couple of month's, we'll be hearing from him about how crappy Dodge builds the transmisions.

That was quite a while ago he did that. He did go through 2 NV5600's, but I don't think he ever complained about how crappy they were built.
