thinking about an 06 cummins auto. how much power will the stock internals handle reliably? I know the tranny has to be built. I want to have a quad cab deep into the 11s in the 1/4 mile. what will it take to get there? I have an 05 duramax/allison that can run low 13s on tuning only and low 12s with nitrous. I am at the point now where I am either going to add bigger sticks and ats 5k turbo or get a cummins if it will handle more power. I can add the bigger sticks and turbo to my truck and still be pretty reliable I think, but that will only get me low 12s maybe high 11s in the 1/4. I want low 11s. something that I also like about the cummins is that there is alot more aftermarket available for them so I thought that it might be easier to get a cummins into the low 11s reliably. It is also easier to work on :cool: Please let me know what is needed to get into low 11s and what the engine will handle. Thanks.

I'm gonna say 800HP but thats studded and fire ringed or o ringed whatever they call it.
