How much HP

Well I'm finally ready to spend some money on the engine... I know what I want to get and I was wondering how much hp you guys think it will give me. I need to figure out which clutch to get...

This is what it has and will have...

I've got a 2002 2500, 6spd, HO
Edge Drag Comp
PDR twins... not sure which of the 3 sets I will pick yet... suggestions?
5" exhaust
PDR quick spool cam
Jammer #5's 150hp
And possibly port and polish
150/150 FASS

I'm thinking this will get me around 530-550 hp? No clue really though. lol
What do you guys think?
I'll be getting a SB clutch.. just not sure if I should go with 550 single disc or 600 DD

I would go with a dual disk, use some ddp injectors or some mach 4's, get a big single like a pro street 66 or a sps 66, stack a smarty with the drag comp, and get rid of the ho pump and buy a hrvp44 with the money you save from not puttin twins on the truck.

I would say get formula one or DDP injectors like he said. ive heard guys on here have problems from the jammer nozzles being junk. I would also say to get a big single turbo also unless you plan to tow with your truck. if you plan to just mod it and have it as a toy twins would be a waste of $

I do tow quads around once in a while... but not often. So I guess I would be okay with a single. On the website for the pro street 66 it says there maybe be problems with surging. Do you know how bad it is or if its common?

get a good set of twins and dont look back. i have had the large single. they work good but not as good as twins. rember you get what you pay for. that goes with injectors to. stacking a smarty with a big single will do nothing but smoke. when it finaly lights its already hot. you need a quick spooling turbo to take advantage of all the low end fueling

So then the question becomes should I port and polish... and should I get a cam...
the P&P is expensive... but is it worth it?
same goes for the cam...

If you are doing twins, you do not need to spend money on the port and polish. You have a 6 speed so spool up is not going to be as big of an issue so a cam is probably out of the equation as well.

If I were you, I'd get the twins, get an oringed head with studs, buy some used mach 4's or 6's. Buy a FE clutch from Valair or get a double disk from whomever you choose. For the money, you can do better than South Bend on a single disk clutch! Sell the drag comp and pony up and buy the new Adrenaline from Quadzilla. I have a stick shift myself, the Adrenaline is so much faster/quicker to make power on my truck than the Drag Comp it is unbelievable.

You can tow with big injectors and the Quadzilla Adrenaline. You can better manage egt's when driving a 6 speed. Towing 4 wheelers is doable with almost any setup.

From what I've read, your money is better spent on injectors than a cam. I'll bet you would gain more power from doing a VP-44 switch to SO Pump than putting in a cam.

HO's have higher compression, your head gasket is borderline with just a drag comp and some injectors.

Thanks for the input... I am getting the head o-ringed with studs... I jsut didn't list it because my question was geared more towards the HP.
I think I will leave out the cam and P&P then... cuz they add a lot to the total. I was thinking about getting the adrenaline.... sounds like its a must after the way you describe it
