It increases the rail pressure at the turn of a ****. I am very happy with mine. Cheap, easy install, gives better fuel mileage.

it also does boost fooling on the 5.9, as far as i know it doesn't do it on the 6.7. i love mine, it definiately woke up the truck. i'll crank the knobe up and pull 40+#s of boost in 5th and 6th gear. not to mention its cake to install. but i never saw an increase in mileage, i even tried different settings and drove it like an old man..and not luck. but i'm happy with it for sure!

I did not know about boost fooling... I get the P0234 all the time. Unless yours is different than mine, I don't understand how it does boost fooling. I don't know everything, tho.

In my case the mp-8 is used to help quicken spoolup times and to keep the pressure ramp up steady.

And it has ruined many many injectors... Be careful over using the mp-8. To much pressure to often is not a good thing.

Mp 8

Is the MP-8 similar to the TST49? I have had the TST, and it did some crazy things to my old truck. I actually didn't have enough fuel to get all the HP out of the stack with my smarty... I would like to stack the TST with my smarty revo. Didn't know if the smarty/tst stack was similar to the smarty/MP 8 stack? Sounds like either way is a pretty good combo from what I understand
