Smile MP-8 Install questions again.

I have done some searching and it appears that folks say it goes either way when hooking up the MP-8 when you ahve a RP gauge already installed. I hooked it up like this, Gauge to rail, MP-8 into gauge, factory into MP-8 and the pressure gets up ther and appears to be working well.

I did notice that every now and then the RP drops for a sec and then starts climbing.

Then I called TS just to see and they said the MP-8 must be plugged in first. So I went MP-8 to rail, then gauge, then factory sensor and the truck ran the same but the RP gauge didn't go nearly as high. So I moved them back to the original setup.

so how is everyone hooking theirs up?

Thanks again Folks

Hook it up the way you originally did to get accurate rail pressure readings. If you go after the MP-8 then you will be getting the fooled RP readings that the MP-8 wants the ECM to see.

I have the Isspro Performax gauges and I was told by Isspro to plug in the gauge first, closest to the sensor. I had called TS before that and they told me it would not work and that I cannot add anything else in with the MP-8. I have been doing all my mods, so I have not had a chance to try it out yet.

Ok, thats how I have it now. thanks guys. Now just how noticeable should it be? I know that is probably more in the eyes of the person running it, but I can tell it is there, just not as pronounced as I thought. I am running it with Revo SW7 tq3,timing0, rp1 now. I thought it would show up more than it seems down low right at the point the truck starts moving like from a redlight.
