Mounting Airdog 100
I've read about 100 posts on here about mounting the FASS or the AIRDOG /100 (THIS IS THE ONE I BOUGHT) but I'm still very confused some say it's so hard to do and others say it was a piece of cake. Ive got a 1998 1/2 short bed. So come on tell me will I have to make up new brackets to mount the pump or will the factory one work. I'm going to mount it where they recomend ,, on the outside of the frame in front of the left rear tire. What do you think of that location.
I'm open for suggestions. Thanks Bob

I used some of there hardware/mounts and installed it on inside of drivers framerail.I just didn't feel safe with it on outside of rail, theives and road debris, out of site out of mind.Would be happy to show you some pict's if you want. The pita for me was installing lines on push barb fittings supplied with pump. They were a pain in theazz to install full on fittings. Other than that it was not too bad, I loosened bolts up on bed took drivers side 1's out and raised bed (drivers side) to help install lines on tank also installed drawstraw and new fuel level sender while I was at it. Well I wanted to get my AIRDOG installed on Wednesday but I was taken to the hospital on Monday night, they left me out this morning they had thought a mini stroke but came up with just high blood pressure.
So anyhow I started at 10:00 AM to put on my AirDog 100 well I stoped for the night at 8:30 PM and I'm still not done I have to cut the fuel tank fill hose yet and run the wiring then the AirDog setup is done then to do the new VP44 and the truck should be good as new again. I just hope I can get the rest done tomorrow before dark.

Time to buy a juicer & go on a raw food diet. (Jack LaLane is cheap & works well.) There is very little reason to take better care of your engine than heart & brain. High BP is almost always diet caused. Eat well at home & live.
