More power Without Fueling Box
I know this subject has been beat before, but I can't seem to decide which way to go. I've been looking at all the different air intake systems. I would like to know if a new air intake system with torqe tube, would give me better throttle response? I've also looked at a donaldson and the areoturbine mufflers also. I plan to get boost and egt gauges soon. What do you guys think?

I just wanted to comment on the Aeroturbine, I wouldn't waste your money on it. I'm not sure if any of the other fellas on here had any luck with it, but I noticed no changes in EGT's at all. I had it located at the end of the downpipe. However it was constructed well and looked cool, thats about all it had going for it.
As far as your question, air flow enhancements may add a few ponies, but not a noticeable amount. However EGT's will be reduced a signifigant amount. With the torque tube and AFE the turbo did seem to spool faster, but that may be that I can just hear it now. It didn'e really seem faster off the line.

RatherBe Muddin,
Thanks for the reply.I really wasn't too sure about the aeroturbin muffler. I think I'll just stay with a new airintake system for now. What kind of gauges do you have? I heard someone has a two gauge pod that fits the cubby hole in the dash. I have a 6spd. so don't need the tranny gauge.
Thanks Again

I can't even remember what brand guages I have. They are a 1"x2" digital pyro and fuel that I got off eBay a few years back, I just have them in there now to get the job done. Hopefully after the Christmas mess is over I will get a BD Outlook moniter, after the CP3 high pressure regulator problems it seems that it may be beneficial.
I never seen any of the 2 guage mounts for the cubby hole, however I did see the 3 guage mount. I think it's made by Autometer and for some reason will only accept Autometer guages. I don't know why this is, maybe someone else with that mount can clarify. So if you like Autometer guages you're in business, I myself favor Di-Pricol guages that are designed for the 3rd gens. Also I think there are a few guys using a trans temp guage on their 6-speed, I even thought about it myself. I have no idea how hot the NV5600's get, I guess they get a little warm otherwise they wouldn't make fast coolers. But it's your call there...
