Mopar 15/40 HD..opinions

I just got back from my dealership and talked to the parts guy. He showed me a gallon of Mopar 15/40 HD Diesel motor oil and it still had the CI4+ rating. Mopar also has a 15/40 for the CJ trucks. So looks like They still have it. Might not be a bad idea to use it for a while until the CJ oils test themselves out. Then it's all good to the warranty. They wanted 16.00 a gallon... A little more expensive than some but not as bad as I thought!! Any experience with this oil?? I want to say it was called "Max Life" or something like that..

I bought 12 gals of valvoline pb for $6 a gallon. $16 sounds like alot if it is not synthetic.
