I have been collecting these pieces off of E-bay and after I figure out a few fitment issues, it should be ready to get powder coated. I put a 5/8 standpipe in the fuel tank and ran a 1/2 line from the tank to the fuel pump. It is drawing through a Racor fuel/water seperator 30 micron then pressure feeding a Cat 2 micron filter. The pressure relief valve is set to 26 psi, but I need to run it to see what it actualy will be. I made a little mold and encased the end of the pump in epoxy to try and help with corrosion. There is also a clamp that goes around the pump and a spacer to help support it. I am always looking for input on ways to improve my work. Let me know what you think..... good or bad

I guess that 30 mic filter is pretty low restriction, I know that it's better to run filter stuff on the pressure side if possible.
Does Racor have a website? I need to get a fuel upgrade too, and this is a interesting project.

I plan on trying it on the truck this weekend and I will let you know how it works. I am going direct to the CP3 without a banjo. I hope there will be very little pressure drop at WOT.

You got everything even the Walbro pump, off ebay? Was it one vender for everything?
Roughly how much was everything?
I like the setup, especially the way it's all mounted on a piece of steel, so you can mount it on your frame and not have to seperately attach stuff to your truck, you can do most everything working on a kitchen table and then mount it. Any service needed (unlikely IMO) you could just 'pop' off the assembly and do the service easily.
I'd like to do something like this (and I bet others would too)
Any chance that you could post all the parts and #'s you used (esp. small parts)?

I was looking to add a Walbro pump (my FP is down around 6-7, and drops to 0 when I put my foot in it!) so anything that you can do to give more detail on the build of this cool looking system would be welcome. Cost, part numbers, etc. would help this newbie for sure!

I am working on gathering all of my receipts to get accurate descriptions of parts needed. I also wanted to make sure everything worked as I intended before someone followed me and my mistakes. It is 94 deg. and 90% humidity now, combined with me being fat, I doubt it will be done today
It is looking to be about 400$ invested now, but I got 3 of each filter and 2 cat 749's if the 750's cause too much pressure drop. The 749 is 10 inches long, and I am afraid of tearing it off. I have posted a pic of my kitchen table for Gaveupontv to see where my R&D goes on. Special thanks go to my 9 year girlfriend who puts up with my crap and allows it to continue.

Well I got it hooked up today... for the most part. I need to run the wires in loom and reroute the fuel line some. I had the discharge hose with the -6X12mm fitting and T for the fuel gauge hooked up and ran it in a 5 gal. bucket. I used a stop watch and filled it all the way, which should be a little more that 5 gal. Anyway, it took 4:37 to fill it @ 12.57 volts. Thats 64.98 GPH or 246 LPH which I thought was pretty good going through the 2 filters and check valve. I plugged the line and let it run for 10 min. through the return to check for leaks and see if the pump got hot. Everything looks very good right now. I have to install the gauge in the dash tomorrow and test drive. I will let you know how I make out and have a parts list compiled for you.
