Mod. Suggestions
I just bought 03 dodge with only 10,000 miles it is completely stock. I want to improve my mpg's and power but nothing over the top. The truck will be used as a daily driver and for hauling cattle. Not sure what chips, intakes, and exhaust products are the best or mabey none at all. Thanks for the help.

exhaust is key get a 4 or 5 inch prolly 5 is the way to go. also an upgraded turbo from a 04.5 -07 5.9 is a good upgrade for cheap. oh and as for a chip if you want to just have a little bit of power buy a smarty or if you want a lot buy a smarty! its the way to go. if you have more power and are towing heavy spend 1500 bucks and get a torque converter and valve body along with the upgraded trans parts servos and all the other goodies. if you have an auto tha is. if you have a manual your in good shape
it all depends on what you wanna spend

A better question........how the heck did you find an '03 with only 10k on the ticker??????Nice find.
As for modding, gauges first, especially when towing. Then a smarty. '03 has no cat, so the exhaust isn't that restrictive unless your up around 500hp or so. The intakes are said to be better and worse than stock pending on who you talk too. It's more or less up to you.

They aren't bad. Thats about all I can say. I personally like the sound of a 4 or 5 inch exhaust, so I put it on first thing. I have a cold air intake from S&B, too, but found that I got 1mpg WORSE with it than the stocker. It looks good under the hood though, and I've lied myself into thinking it helps out power.
Agian, nice find on the truck. Not many around with those kind of mileage #'s.

I think the exhaust is 3.5", but don't hold me to it. A straight pipe isn't too bad, but not for me. You can buy package deals with an intake and exhaust system fairly cheap online. That's were I got mine. PM me if you would like the company.
And as stated above, a Smarty Jr. would be plenty for you. I meant to say that in the first post, but forgot the Jr. part.
